As we enter tier 4 on Friday 20th November for a period of three weeks until 11th December, it is with regret that I have to say that we will not be holding Church Services during that time. The decision has not been taken lightly, the Office Bearers have agreed with me that it is not practical to hold Worship Services for such a limited number of people.
The church will open again for worship on DECEMBER 13thif all goes to plan. We had hoped to hold COMMUNION on the 6th December but that is unfortunately not going to happen. It will be celebrated when we return on the 13th or later if we are still in tier 4. I am happy to conduct two Communion Services on that day if numbers are sufficient. The same arrangements for booking a place will continue for all services.
The Watch Night Service may go ahead on Christmas Eve if there are sufficient numbers. If you would like to attend the midnight service would you please let our Session Clerk Mrs. Russell know in advance so arrangements can be made. All this of course depends on the government’s instructions at that time and what tier we will be in.
Until we do meet up once more, please remember that you are all in my prayers and that if you wish to contact me about either services or just to chat, please feel free to do so.
God has a reason for allowing things to happen.
We may never understand His wisdom
We simply have to trust His will.
Stay safe and take care
